Mid-Autumn Festival EMASI 2020
Time & Location:
- 8:00 AM, September 30th, EMASI Nam Long
- 8:00 AM, October 1st, EMASI Van Phuc
In the old mid-autumn night, family members would gather together. Children would play and Adults would look to the moon to predict next year’s crops. That’s why there is the poem:
“If the mid-autumn moon is clear, we get silkworms
If the moon is dim, we get abundant crops.”
The Mid-Autumn Festival today is very different, but the beauty of the festival is still preserved. On September 30th and October 1st, members of EMASI will come together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Festival is an opportunity for students, even in a modern context, to still have the opportunity to discover the beauty of national cultural traditions.
The Mid-Autumn Festival at EMASI will take place incorporating the use of colorful lanterns, useful and interesting cultural activities, together with the sharing of mid-autumn festival cakes and fruit and watching a dragon dance to connect friendship. Let’s look forward to the mid-autumn event at EMASI on September 30 and October 1!
