IGCSE & A-Level Scholarships

To support and nurture talented Grade 9 & Grade 11 students who potentially wish to study the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programs at EMASI, we are pleased to launch the Scholarship programs worth up to 100% of tuition for eligible students.

About the IGCSE Program

The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year-olds and is recognized by leading universities around the world. It is also viewed as a valuable certificate of achievement by employers.

As a Cambridge school, EMASI puts an emphasis on optimizing the Cambridge IGCSE Program and other programs within the Cambridge Pathway stages to help students achieve success not only in academics but in their personal development.

The Cambridge IGCSE program at EMASI opens doors for students to grow and thrive in modern educational environments at leading colleges and universities both in Vietnam and around the world.

About the A-Level Program

A-Level is a prestigious program from the United Kingdom that is recognized by all universities worldwide and used for university admissions. Students study A-Levels in Grade 11 and 12. In the first year, students study the AS Level program, which is the first half of the A-Level program. In the second year, students continue with the A2 Level and complete the program. The A-Level grade is the cumulative result of the two years of study.

Who Can Apply?

• Grade 8 students (for IGCSE scholarship) & Grade 10 students (for A-Level scholarship) (in the current 2024 – 2025 academic year) in Vietnam;
• All applicants must be Vietnamese nationals, overseas Vietnamese or have dual citizenship with a Vietnamese passport.

* The selection and evaluation process for scholarships may conclude early once the designated number of recipients has been reached.

Eligibility Requirements

Students need to meet the following core requirements for participating in the scholarship program:

• Positive conduct during students’ studying path up until now;
• Excellent performance and achievement based on students’ academic records and activity certificates during the most recent three years.

Students who have been winners of any contests, competitions or games in any subjects (Math, Sciences, English, Arts or Sports, etc.) at any grades will receive bonus points:

• District Excellence Prize – Plus 2 points;
• City Excellence Prize – Plus 3 points;
• National Excellence Prize – Plus 5 points;
• International Excellence Prize – Plus 7 points.
